Halo Reach ODST WIP

Description

Usually I don't share photos of helms until after or near finished, but this one I am showing. Actually starting to slowly work on my Halo Reach ODST.

Was thinking of redoing my Oni Operative but decided I actually want to go for an ODST.

I have an ODST helm but when I tried it on I realized when I made that one it fit too perfect and there was no room for any padding. This one fits much better and even though it doesn't have all the detailing that will be added once I start the bondo process. Right now it has a coat of resin on it and my next steps are to add another coat of resin and then rondo and glass the inside.

Also the visor we are in the process of making a mother mold of the visor so then can vacuum form it. With school don't have much time to work constantly on this but hoping this will get done in the next couple of months.

hello i have a question if you dont mind, about your pepakura helmet here.
i am wondering if this is the model created by rundown, because i made the exact same one.
i noticed a difference on yours, it is there area i believe to be called the air intake filters located at
both the left and right cheeks.
i have my pepakura program running and the odst helmet modeled by rundown up, and as far as i can tell yours are
protruding outward when they are supposed to be protruding in to the helmet.
my question to you is, was this on purpose because i found that part to be particularly annoying to do
i had to reprint another set and remake them because i ripped the first ones in the process of making them.
also i cant find a good shot of the finished helmet to see what you did on that particular part.
sorry if that this is a very long comment, i hope to hear from you about this
thank you for your time.
